Phase 1: Begin Your Expedition (7 AM)
Begin your day of exploration by departing from your hotel, ready to experience the wonders of the Shivapuri Day Hike. Your adventure begins at the Shivapuri National Park entrance in Budhanilkantha, which is a scenic 30-minute drive away.
Phase 2: Conquer the Trails (9 a.m.).
Put on your hiking boots and prepare to ascend to Deurali/Baghdwar and Shivapuri Peak, reaching heights of 2,732 metres. The approximately three-hour trek takes you through dense forests, picturesque meadows, and cascading streams, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Make a stop at Nagi Gumba, a tranquil monastery, to rejuvenate your spirit in the peaceful surroundings.
Phase 3: Descend to Serenity (12 pm)
After reaching the summit of Shivapuri Peak, descend towards Budhanilkantha and take in the tranquilly of the surroundings. The three-hour journey back allows you to take in the natural beauty of the national park and reflect on your adventure.
Phase 4: Reflect and Explore Further (3 p.m.)
As you return to Budhanilkantha, pause to reflect on the memories made during your Shivapuri Day Hike.
