TRIP FACTS

Jomsom Muktinath Trek is one of exotic and adventurous trek in Annapurna and Mustang region of Nepal. This classical trekking adventure allows you to explore the tremendous diversity of the Annapurna region following the ancient trade route to Tibet along the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world’s deepest gorge. The trek offers exceptional views of mountain vistas, semi-arid landscapes, unique temples and monasteries along the windy valleys.
13 day Jomsom Muktinath trek starts with a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (which still have much to offer, despite ravages in recent earthquake). Next, we take short flight to Pokhara, the city of Lake. We trek through picturesque landscapes of Annapurna region and gradually enter the Mustang region. The trail crosses ancient settlements, cascading waterfalls, magical forest and semi-arid leeward side of Himalaya. The surprisingly diverse landscapes and towering snow-clad peaks combined with amazing culture makes this trek more enticing.
We visit Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang: Once Forbidden Kingdom decorated with barren land of beauty against the shadow of giant peaks. Along the route, the traditional settlement of Gurung, Thakali and Magar will keep you enthralled. We also hike through fascinating Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, and pay homage to revered Mukitnath Temple. Mukitnath at 3710m is sacred temple for both Hindus and Buddhist. Here we visit Muktinath temple, shrines of different god and goddess and natural gas spot. Next, we retrace our steps back to Jomsom and catch a flight to Pokhara.
