Our fantastic tour begins right from Kathmandu with familiarization tour visiting Buddhist heritage sites and then heading towards Bhutan taking a scenic flight to land at Paro in the country of Thundering Dragon known as Druk as Bhutan is known officially.

Starting with pleasant sightseeing tour around Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan and then heading for a drive to Gangtey and walking towards Gogona within its scenic and beautiful verdant valley.

As walk progress crossing a pass at Shobju La pass above 3,600 m high offering glorious panorama of surrounding beautiful landscapes with distant snow clad peaks and then heading towards smaller farm villages of Wangdi Phodrang and ending at Chuzomsa after crossing a scenic Tashila Pass to end the trek with drive back Paro via Thimpu.

At Paro enjoy visiting the famous Tiger’s Nest or Taksang Monastery with 17th century Ta-Dzong, and Druk Gyaldzong after a fine time with moderate adventure a smooth scenic flight brings you back at Kathmandu after a remarkable trip on ‘Bhutan Gangtey & Gogona Tour &Trek.

On reaching Kathmandu via various respective airlines, walk to airport terminal exit, here our guide and staff receives you with warm greeting and then transfer into car or coach (depending upon group size) for short drive into the heart of Kathmandu city.

On reaching your hotel check into your rooms, after rest and refreshment join in the main hall or lobby to join with other members of Tibetan Journey for complete briefing with information with do's and don'ts.

Morning activities starts after breakfast, where our city guide will accompany you to interesting World Heritage Sites in our wonderful sightseeing tour, which helps you to gain knowledge regarding local culture and traditional life of Nepalese people as it was for many past centuries.

Tour leads around Kathmandu Durbar Square teemed with local life around historical sites and monuments, then heading due west at Swayambhunath Stupa (popularly known as Monkey Temple where large numbers of monkeys found around).

One of the oldest monuments of Nepal dates back more than 2,500 years old overlooking views of Kathmandu valley and the city from this hillock Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa.

After with lunch in local restaurant as the tour continues to holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath towards east of the city, one of the holiest Hindu sites, where great festival takes place in the month of February known as Shiva Ratri.

From here visit Bouddhanath huge Stupa, a Buddhist landmark the area also known as 'Little Tibet' due to strong Tibetan influence in religion-culture and traditional way of life.

On arrival in Paro at Bhutan’s International airport our native guide of Bhutan receives you for two hours drive through scenic countryside dotted with farm villages and terraces of typical Bhutanese landscapes and Buddhist cultural villages.

On reaching Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan, interesting to know that Thimphu the only city in the whole world without traffic lights, all the traffic controlled by traffic police with their whistle.

In Thimphu in the best hotels, afternoon at leisure with time for a walk around the market and observe the Bhutanese way of life.

After refreshing breakfast our guide will take you on a tour of memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school. Tour of Memorial Chorten (temple) built in memory of the late 3rd King of Bhutan.

Visit of Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley offering a nice view of the valley, a short scenic drive for a visit of the largest and recently built statue of Buddha with wonderful view of entire Thimphu valley. After an interesting tour around Thimphu return back to hotel, after lunch tour around traditional Hand Made Paper Mill, School of Arts and Crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library and the Traditional Institute of Medicine. Drive to the Zilukha nunnery to meet the nuns and interact with them.

After a wonderful time at Thimphu visiting places of interest, probably Thimphu is the only city in the world without traffic lights so far.

Morning after breakfast starting an interesting drive to Gangtey, a scenic journey around mid hills with fabulous scenery of green landscapes and traditional villages, on arrival check in a farm house for overnight stop.

Starting morning walk which will be a long day but interesting passing through farm fields and traditional villages and observing mid hills Bhutanese daily life on farms, the trek leads into beautiful alpine forest, then finally to Gogona village with a monastery, overnight in guesthouse / lodge.

After a good and interesting time at Gogona, starting early for about six hours trek passing beautiful areas of farm lands with terraces and quaint villages and smiley villagers, then with a steep climb on top of Shobju La pass above 3,600 m highest point of this trips with grand scenery that surrounds this wonderful ridge top. From here descend towards a wide valley to Khoatokha village for overnight stay at guesthouse / lodge.

From Khoatokha morning leads on a winding path through pristine forest of rhododendron-magnolia-birch and fir, pines tree lines and passing several typical Bhutanese hamlets to reach Wangdi Phodrang for overnight stay in guest house.

Today last day of trek leading to a nice village of Chuzomsa, morning as walk heads into interesting farmlands and villages with views of distant high snow capped peaks after couple of hours of nice trek and then a climb to the last pass of Tashila 3,780 m of this trek to reach at Chuzomsa village for the drive back to Thimphu, from here about four hours of scenic and interesting drive to Thimphu for overnight stop in respective hotels.

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Paro and transfer to hotel, with time for short drive and an hour uphill hike to Bhutan’s famous landmark old Taksang Monastery known as Tiger's Nest.

A place for retreats and meditation of many Buddhist monks and high priest of Bhutan, the monastery located within the overhanging rock cliff with superb views of Paro town and snow capped peaks towards north, from here with steep downhill a short drive to visit 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967, afternoon free at leisure for stroll around Paro shops and markets.

As per the flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our Bhutan guide transfer you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and to respective destination connecting with other international flight from Delhi onwards.
