The journey begins from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. You will drive towards the north along the scenic Prithvi Highway. The road winds through picturesque landscapes with terraced fields, dense forests, and traditional Nepali villages. After approximately 7-8 hours of drive, you will reach Syabrubesi, a small village located at an altitude of 1550 meters. You will check into a guesthouse, rest, and prepare for the trek ahead.

Today, you will start your trek toward Lama Hotel. The trail passes through terraced fields and crosses the Bhote Koshi River on a suspension bridge. You will then ascend through a forest of oak and maple trees, enjoying the stunning views of the Langtang mountain range. The trail goes uphill and downhill, passing through small settlements and teahouses along the way. After approximately 6-7 hours of trekking, you will reach Lama Hotel, located at an altitude of 2470 meters. You will spend the night at a teahouse, enjoying the tranquility of the Himalayas.

The trail continues along the Langtang River, passing through dense forests of pine, rhododendron, and bamboo. You will cross several small streams and suspension bridges, enjoying the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks. As you ascend higher, you will notice a change in the landscape, with fewer trees and more alpine vegetation. After trekking for about 5-6 hours, you will reach Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang village located at an altitude of 3430 meters. You will stay at a teahouse in the village, immerse yourself in the local culture, and interact with the friendly villagers.

Today's trek will take you to Kyangjin Gompa, a renowned Buddhist monastery located at an altitude of 3870 meters. The trail gradually ascends through yak pastures, crossing wooden bridges and passing through small settlements. As you approach Kyangjin Gompa, you will be greeted by the magnificent views of Langtang Lirung (7227m), Langtang II (6596m), and other surrounding peaks. After approximately 3-4 hours of trekking, you will reach Kyangjin Gompa. You will have the opportunity to explore the monastery, interact with the local monks, and enjoy the serene surroundings. You will spend the night at a teahouse in Kyangjin Gompa.

After spending some time at Kyangjin Gompa, you will begin your descent back to Lama Hotel. The trail retraces the same path, passing through yak pastures, crossing wooden bridges, and descending through forests of pine and rhododendron. You will trek for approximately 5-6 hours before reaching Lama Hotel, where you will spend the night at a teahouse, reliving the memories of the trek so far

Leaving Lama Hotel behind, you will begin your trek towards Thulo Syabru. The trail ascends steeply through forests of oak and rhododendron, passing through small settlements and teahouses. You will enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas along the way. After trekking for about 5-6 hours, you will reach Thulo Syabru, a picturesque village located at an altitude of 2260 meters. Thulo Syabru is a popular stopover for trekkers and offers stunning views of the Langtang mountain range. You will check into a teahouse, rest, and explore the village, interacting with the friendly locals and learning about their unique culture and way of life.

The trail today takes you through beautiful rhododendron forests and terraced fields. You will trek along a steep trail, crossing several ridges and passing through small settlements. As you ascend higher, the vegetation changes, and you will notice a mix of rhododendron, pine, and fir trees. After trekking for about 4-5 hours, you will reach Sing Gompa, a serene village located at an altitude of 3330 meters. Sing Gompa is famous for its cheese factory, and you can sample some delicious local cheese. You will stay at a teahouse in Sing Gompa, enjoying the tranquility of the Himalayas.

Today's trek takes you to Gosaikunda, one of the holiest lakes in Nepal, situated at an altitude of 4460 meters. The trail ascends through lush rhododendron forests and passes through beautiful meadows, also known as "yak pastures." You will cross the Lauribinayak Pass (3920m), which offers panoramic views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. The trail then descends steeply to Gosaikunda, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the turquoise blue lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Gosaikunda is considered a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists, and it is believed that taking a dip in the lake during the full moon festival of Janai Purnima cleanses sins and brings blessings. You will stay at a teahouse near the lake, experiencing the serenity and spirituality of the place.

Leaving the sacred lake behind, you will start descending towards Dhunche. The trail descends through forests and terraced fields, passing through small villages along the way. Dhunche is the headquarters of Rasuwa district and is a bustling town located at an altitude of 1950 meters. Today is the last day of your trek. You will drive back to Kathmandu, retracing the same route you took on the first day. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, and you will pass through beautiful landscapes, terraced fields, and traditional villages.
